(2020 - Ongoing)
Time is the dimension in which the passage of existence is conceived and measured.
It has always represented a fascinating and mysterious, relative and elusive aspect
mainly to philosophers, physicists and scientists who have questioned themselves and
debated trying to understand it fully. The only truth lies in the fact that the flow
of time leaves marks.
This series seeks to examine the passing of time approached by the religious community of the Sisters of Providence and the Immaculate Conception of the Abbey of San Bartolomeo in Ripoli, Florence. Since its founding in 1762, the Congregation has always devoted itself mostly to the Christian education of young people in orphanages, kindergartens and schools of all types and levels. There, where time flows but never seems to pass.
